British Columbia issued 74 invitations to apply (ITAs) for provincial nominations for permanent residence on February 9.

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (B.C. PNP) Tech Pilot draw issued invitations to candidates under the Express Entry B.C. (EEBC) and Skills Immigration (SI) categories. The draw issued invitations through four (4) streams of the B.C. PNP:

SI – Skilled Worker

SI – International Graduate

EEBC – Skilled Worker

EEBC – International Graduate

The required minimum provincial score was 80 for all subcategories. This draw’s minimum score aligned with the previous Tech Pilot draws of the year, remaining in the low 80s.

The B.C. PNP Tech Pilot is a fast-track immigration pathway for tech workers and international students who are skilled in in-demand jobs. To be eligible for the program, candidates need to be registered in one of B.C.’s existing provincial immigration streams. As well, candidates need to have a valid job offer that is for a full-time position that lasts at least a year in one of the eligible 29 Tech Pilot occupations.
